WOHLER’S NEW SERVICE CAMERAS
TACKLE INSPECTION CHALLENGES
Wohler USA recently added three new
visual inspection camera systems to their
product line: the VIS 250, VIS 350, and
VIS 400. The company also introduced a
new camera system accessory: the L 200
Locator.
Wohler’s VIS 250 Visual Inspection
Camera offers contractors a clear view
when space is tight, because it easily negoti-
ates bends and turns. Its integrated locator
transmitter precisely pinpoints damage
and saves time. This camera is ideal for
analyzing household wastewater pipes of
1 1/2” diameter and larger. It can also be
used to inspect dryer vent systems, ventila-
tion lines, hollow spaces (e.g. in front-wall
installations), and flue gas lines.
Wohler’s VIS 350 Visual Inspection
Camera takes the company’s proven camera
design a step further with new features.
The home function helps the user maintain
their sense of orientation when trouble-
shooting, and the position of the camera
head is indicated on a vibrant display. The
VIS 350 covers a wide range of applications.
Contractors can use its pan-and-tilt camera
head to inspect wastewater lines, house
connections, flue gas systems, ventilation
lines, false ceilings, and more. The VIS 350
also comes equipped with two rechargeable
batteries.
Wohler’s VIS 400 Visual Inspection
Camera is ideal for inspecting while
working from a roof. Weighing in at just 3
pounds, it is compact and easy to use. And
its pan-and-tilt camera head provides an
all-encompassing view. It also comes with
a carry strap and pouch with anti-glare
protection. The VIS 400 is part of a modular
system so the contractor can choose indi-
vidual components to meet specific needs.
It can be used to inspect flue gas systems,
chimneys, building drains, house connec-
tions, ventilation systems, and more.
Documenting an inspection has never
been easier, because the new cameras can
take still photos and stream video with
three recording options: USB, VHS, and an
SD card.
Contractors can take inspections to the
next level with Wohler’s L 200 Locator.
It works with Wohler’s visual inspection
camera systems to help target trouble spots
from above – even through asphalt and
concrete. The L 200 locates radio signals
transmitted by the camera head and rapidly
pinpoints damage. Its color display and
telescopic pole make it easy to use. And its
built-in chalk holder will help you mark the
position where damage is found.

FUJITSU INTRODUCES SINGLE ZONE
COMPACT CASSETTES AND SLIM DUCTS
Fujitsu General America recently intro-
duced its new single-zone line of compact
cassettes and slim duct systems. These flex-
ible indoor units were available last year,
but only when paired with a multi-zone
outdoor condensing system. When coupled
with a single zone heat pump or air condi-
tioning unit the 9,000, 12,000 and 18,000
BTU air handlers now fit a wider range of
installations.
Heating capacity at low outdoor tem-
peratures is achieved through the use of a
large heat exchanger and a high-capacity
compressor. The systems operate optimally
with ambient temperatures as low as -5°F.
The ceiling cassette unit fits conveniently
into the space of a standard 22.5-inch
ceiling tile. In addition to a larger heat
exchanger, Fujitsu has equipped the ceiling
cassette units with a two-stage turbo fan,
providing even air distribution and two
separate airflow streams.
The compact duct unit can be installed
horizontally or vertically, and a built-in
drain pump allows for installation of the
slim duct unit in smaller spaces than tradi-
tional units. It requires only 9.4-inches of
space in the ceiling or in the wall – almost
four inches less than traditional duct units.
Other standard features include a wired
remote control, built-in condensation
pump, a host of different operating modes.
Optional equipment includes backlit
controls and a wireless remote control.
The RLFCC and RLFCD units are ideal for
residential spot cooling applications, or
hospital rooms, dorms and office suites.
AMSOIL UPDATES DIESEL FUEL ADDITIVES
WITH NEW TECHNOLOGY, NEW PACKAGING
The AMSOIL diesel fuel additive line
has been upgraded and re-packaged. Two of
the products, AMSOIL Diesel Injector Clean
and AMSOIL Diesel Injector Clean + Cold
Flow, feature new formulations designed to
clean tough-to-remove deposits in modern
high-pressure common-rail (HPCR) diesel
injectors as well as the traditional deposits
found in older generation injectors. AMSOIL
Diesel Cetane Boost and AMSOIL Diesel
Cold Flow formulations remain unchanged.
All four products feature bold new pack-
aging. Each product in the AMSOIL diesel
fuel additive line is highly concentrated and
focuses on addressing specific issues.
CALEFFI INTRODUCES SOLAR
SYSTEM CONTROLLER
Caleffi recently introduced the iSolar
™
MX LTE, a multi-functional temperature
differential controller with add-on system
functions for use in a wide variety of solar
thermal heating applications. The MX LTE
is equipped with five relay outputs; four are
triac pump speed control relays and one dry
contact relay, as well as one 0-10 V pump
speed control signal output for new high-
efficiency pumps. Additionally, the controller
is equipped with eight Pt1000 sensor inputs,
one CS10 irradiation sensor input, and one
impulse flow meter input for built-in accu-
rate heat energy metering (BTU meter). The
controller comes complete with five Pt1000
sensors and one 0-10 V adapter cord.
