NEFI IS NOW OFFERING FTC & EPA DECALS FOR ETHANOL PUMPS

Dispensers of 85 percent ethanol-blended gasoline require a label under Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regulations. Optional EPA label also recommended in avoiding liability concerns.

1. MANDATORY FTC Ethanol decal available: (SEE BELOW)

2. RECOMMENDED EPA Ethanol decal available: This label is recommended by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for pumps with blends over 10 percent ethanol blend (E-10) to avoid liability for improper dispensing of a gasoline/ethanol blend in a non-flex fuel vehicle. Penalties for violation of this rule can be as high as $32,500 per day per violation.
