Announcing the NEFI-QSC CSR Collections Program May 20, May 27, and June 3.

The NEFI Education Foundation and Quality Service Contractors (QSC), an enhanced service group of the National PHCC, are proud to announce their new Customer Service Representative Collections Program.

As businesses navigate the complexities of cash flow and customer relationships, understanding how to effectively manage receivables is vital for sustaining growth and enhancing profitability. In this series of sessions, we will explore the fundamental concepts of A/R, discuss the significance of efficient collections processes, and examine best practices that can minimize bad debts and accelerate cash flow.

NEFI Collections Sessions

Session 1:

This session provides a unique opportunity to gain foundational knowledge about the collections process, making it indispensable for anyone involved in managing customer accounts. Whether you are new to collections or looking to refine your skills, this session will equip you with the tools and insights needed to navigate the complexities of accounts receivable. Participants will learn how effective collections management can improve customer relationships and support overall business success.

This session will also feature interactive discussions, allowing participants to engage with the facilitator and fellow attendees. You will have the chance to share your current challenges and experiences, setting the stage for targeted strategies and solutions in subsequent sessions. This collaborative approach ensures that you leave with practical insights tailored to your needs.

Session 2:

Effective customer onboarding and credit management are critical for sustaining operational efficiency and ensuring healthy cash flow.

In this session, you’ll gain practical insights that will elevate your business practices and help you identify gaps in your existing onboarding and customer management processes. Engage with peers to share experiences, ask questions, and collaborate on solutions to common challenges in customer onboarding and credit management.

You will leave with actionable strategies and insights that you can implement immediately in your organization, positioning you for greater success in the fuel delivery services sector. Join us to transform your approach and drive improvement in your operations!

Session 3:

Our final session will focus on Proactive Collection Strategies designed to equip professionals with the tools needed to enhance their collections management and minimize payment risks. This session will focus on three key areas: preventive measures to reduce the risk of non-payment, best practices for monitoring accounts receivable and, handling delinquent accounts.

Participants will have the opportunity to share experiences and gain incites into how to navigate their complexities of accounts receivable and collections issues moving forward.

Beth Dobkin, Business Coach at PHCC-QSC

Beth Dobkin, Program Director and Senior Business Coach has been in the trades her entire life. She gained valuable experience working with her family and later married her husband, a business graduate, third generation plumber and entrepreneur. Throughout her journey in the trades, Beth developed a passion for coaching, mentoring, and training. Recognizing a need, Beth joined the PHC family in 2012 as a business management coach. She is committed to providing valuable guidance and support to professionals in the trades, empowering them to reach their full potential.



NEW CLASSES: New Program Classes Added and Will Begin on Wednesday, May 20, 2026

WHERE:

  • WEDNESDAYS: Starting on Wednesday, May 20, there will be 3 1.5 hour virtual meetings, Wednesday May 20, Wednesday May 27, and Wednesday June 3 from 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm.

SCHEDULE: Once all applicants are reviewed and approved, applicants will be notified of their final meeting schedule.

APPROVAL: All applicants are subject to approval. Applications will be reviewed after receiving. Approved applicants will be sent a congratulations email along with a confidentiality agreement.

PAYMENT: All applicants will be sent an invoice upon approval.

COST: $375 for NEFI Members | $525 for Non-Members (subject to change)

CANCELLATION POLICY: All cancellation requests must be sent in writing 30 days prior to the first session to education_qsc@nefi.com
