DOT Lauds Trucking Regulatory Changes In First Year Of Trump Administration

DOT Secretary Sean Duffy has posted a listing of the department’s accomplishments in the first year of the Trump Administration. 
 

With regard to trucking regulations, the department noted it:

  • Issued out of service order to over 11,500 drivers failing to meet English proficiency standards;

  • Removed 7,500 CDL training schools from the Training Provider Registry for failing to meet federal standards’ and

  • Secured English proficiency compliance from state motor carrier safety enforcement agencies in 49 states.
