As the summer draws to a close, we want to take a moment to thank our summer intern, Camille Butler, who spent the summer with our government affairs team in Washington. Camille heads back to Miami this fall to finish her final year studying public administration and ecosystem science and policy, and she leaves with our best wishes.

She joined us for meetings on Capitol Hill, researched and drafted issue briefs and correspondence on the policy fights that matter most to our members, and helped build the outreach lists and background research that make our coalition work possible. Whatever we handed her, she took seriously, and she brought a genuine curiosity and commitment to all of it. We also owe a thank you to Mark Stellmach of Fuel Management Services, Inc. for referring Camille to us. Our best people tend to reach us through members who understand what this industry needs, and this was no exception.

Camille, thank you for your hard work and dedication in a role that ended far too soon. You leave with our thanks and our confidence that you will succeed in whatever comes next.
