The National Energy & Fuels Institute (NEFI) has partnered with the National Propane Gas Association (NPGA) to provide members access to NPGA’s ACE Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) Services, a resource that helps companies train drivers in-house while saving thousands of dollars when hiring individuals in need of a CDL or HAZMAT endorsement.

In today’s regulatory environment, selecting the right training provider is more important than ever. Thousands of providers have recently been removed from the Training Provider Registry for failing to meet ELDT requirements.

That’s why choosing a reliable provider is critical. In December 2026, the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) conducted a routine audit of 26 locations utilizing ACE Services. The results confirmed that ACE’s curriculum and platform fully meet all regulatory requirements, with every location receiving a Notice of No Further Action. This outcome allows NPGA to remain on FMCSA’s Training Provider Registry as an authorized ELDT provider.
