NEFI President & CEO Jim Collura wants to thank the Northeastern Pennsylvania Energy Marketers Association (NEPA) and the South-Central Pennsylvania Energy Association (SCPEA) for inviting NEFI to provide updates on heating fuel industry federal policy priorities during their lunch and dinner meetings, respectively, on Thursday, November 13.

“I provided updates to the organization members on the outlook for LIHEAP funding, advancement of energy choice legislation in Congress, and federal renewable fuels incentives, and enjoyed our discussion of the broader trends in American politics and the energy markets,” Collura said.

Ted Harris of the Pennsylvania Petroleum Association, and NEFI Chairperson, provided an update on state priorities including outlook for release of LIHEAP benefits for the coming winter now that the shutdown has concluded.
