NEFI is happy to inform you that on Tuesday, October 28, the Maine Energy Marketers Association's full board met and voted to endorse the Boston Resolution.

"The Maine Energy Marketers Association Board of Directors boldly endorses Maine and America's energy future by voting unanimously in support of the 2025 Boston Resolution. With this clean direction MEMA looks forward to working with NEFI, as we, together, chart the critical role biofuels will play in meeting our state and country's energy needs," said Charlie Summers, MEMA President and CEO.

Industry leaders ratified the Boston Resolution, a set of policy principles to guide federal, state, or local emissions reduction policies, in August, at the Industry Summit held during the HEAT Show.

The resolution was then submitted to regional, state, and local heating fuel associations throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic to accept in full or modify to meet their specific concerns.
